People: they’re all the same but all different.
We’re all looking for something. We want happiness. We want safety. We want comfort. We want adventure. We want stability. We want a plethora of feelings and materials that are difficult to obtain all at once, and sometimes difficult to obtain alone.
Yet, I’ve come to realize that we’re all entirely different. We want things differently. We feel the same emotions differently. Our ideas of friendship are different. Our ideas of family are different. Our ideas of enjoyment are different. Our morals are different.
Life is a matter of finding the people you feel connected no matter how different they are from you. It may take your entire life to find them. It may take a few years. When you find them, it isn’t hard to tell that you’ve found where you belong.
