After a decade and some years of pure magic and dreams, Walt Disney World of Florida has decided to replace their classic fireworks spectacular, “Wishes.” Commonly known as the must-see closer in Magic Kingdom after a tiring but exciting day, the replacement of “Wishes” has deeply wounded the hearts of Disney fanatics.
According to Business 2 Community, the nighttime spectacular is being replaced by a laser light show called “Happily Ever After.” The show will keep the aspect of castle projections and Tinkerbell’s flight over the castle, but the animations, soundtrack and feeling of the show will completely change come May 12.
The new show will include music and animations from Aladdin, Moana, The Princess and the Frog, Zootopia, Big Hero 6, and more. While the new show will include many loved animations, some Disney lovers feel it is ridiculous to stop a show that is so admired and others are wary of the use of animations and music from more recent movies.
Regardless of one’s feelings about the changes, it is easy to conclude that the new show will be stunning and capture the hearts of current and future Disney fans.
